FINANCE DIRECTOR

Village of Greenhills, Ohio

The Village of Greenhills, Ohio is seeking a highly qualified individual to hold the position of Finance Director.

Being a small historic village of approximately 3,700 inhabitants, the Finance Director acts as both the high-level financial strategist and the hands-on technician doing the actual transactional work.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting with at least ten years progressively responsible municipal finance experience, preferably in a small government in the State of Ohio. A CPA is preferred.

The outgoing Finance Director is a retire/rehire and that scenario has worked very well for both parties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,  
– Preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets
– Preparation of revenue estimates, financial reports and statements
– Overseeing revenue collection; investments; and disbursement of Village funds.

Salary range: $88,000 to $93,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Employees receive generous paid time off, including vacation and holiday pay, plus 40 additional personal hours.
