Welcome to Our New .GOV Website!

Geenhillsohio.GOV Website

We’re excited to welcome you to the newly redesigned greenhillsohio.gov — the Village of Greenhills’ official .GOV website!

This upgrade makes it easier than ever to stay connected with your community. You’ll find a cleaner, mobile-friendly design, simpler navigation to departments and services, an easy-to-search village calendar, and the latest news all in one place.

Whether you’re a longtime resident, a new neighbor, or just visiting, this site is built to help you find what you need — from permits and taxes to parks, police updates, and upcoming events like Harvest Fest.

As a Village founded on a pioneering vision back in 1938, we’re proud to carry that same spirit of community forward into this new digital home. Take a look around, and let us know what you think!

Town Park Updates

The pathway at the new park has been completed! The pathway is just one piece of the plan that is an exciting concept the Village is implementing.  Work has started on the Veterans Memorial and Honor Path. And work is starting on a new shelter. The concept calls for a natural prairie habitat surrounded by lawns, overlook points, a “natural” amphitheater, and more!  Click here to see photos of proposed amenities. More to come – check back for updates!

Tree Program Updates

TREE PROGRAM UPDATE #4

What has been going on with the tree program in Greenhills?

  • Tree pruning and some removals continue throughout the Village.
  • Comprehensive work in the “H” block begins NEXT WEEK.
  • Our Arborist has completed the annual assessment of all trees in the Village, and identified a number of trees for removal or pruning that we will be following up on in the next few months.
  • A more intense assessment of the trees in the B-block is underway and may take a few weeks to complete.
  • The entire route of the Red, White & Blue Parade has been clear-pruned.

What is clear-pruning? It is when lower limbs are removed to a height

of 8 feet on sidewalks and 14 feet on the streets to allow pedestrians and vehicles, respectively, to be able to walk and drive without hitting a tree limb.

Click here to see a map that will give you a sense of where we are with the clear-pruning of Village streets.  Streets marked in yellow are currently being worked on; streets highlighted in green have or are being done; streets highlighted in purple are being assessed now and will be worked on later this year; and the streets in blue remain to be done and will be within the next 2 months.
